Read our words to remember for this week “But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.” Matthew 5:44 This text is what Jesus said to the people hundreds of years after this story we are reading about today.
Then and now, Jesus calls us to do a good thing even if it seems it’s ok to do a bad thing.
David says in vs 13 “As the old saying goes, From evil doers come evil deeds.”
How does this story help us know what to do
When someone has been mean to me
When lies are being told about me
Memorise the words to remember for this week so you will always know what to do.
TRY this Emoji Origami Game. It’s easy to say “be happy” or “stop being mad” but much harder to do. Use these examples in the Bible to know when it is ok to be mad, sad, happy and glad.
