This week is all about - Jesus’ Resurrection. HE IS BACK FOREVER!
What’s Happening - Jesus is dead and his body has gone. The disciples look for him but don’t get what's going on. Mary, still at the tomb, sees two angels and then sees Jesus. What would you think? How do you think the disciples were feeling? Lets dive into this text and explore what was going on.

Let’s read through the text together, highlighting interesting points for you.
1. The Empty Tomb
Which disciples are at the tomb and what was inside?
2. Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
Who does Mary think Jesus is? What did Jesus say for Mary to know it was him?
3. Jesus Appears to His Disciples
Why do you think Jesus said “Peace be with you” to the Disciples? Have you ever had a time where you needed peace to be with you?
4. Jesus Appears to Thomas.

John 20:29 says, Then Jesus told him," You believe because you see me. Those who believe without seeing me will be truly happy."

PLAY Charades
Can you imagine being one of the Disciples over the very first Easter weekend?
Can you act out what their expressions may have been like from Friday through to Easter Sunday?
Charades is a game all about guessing what the person is acting out. The person acting cannot use words or sounds, just actions. You can also use the app Heads Up! Kids if you like.
MAKE
The story inspires me to make….a garden bed or a garden head? Choose from this Pinterest board the one that you would like to do. There are also some tips on how to grow wheat grass that might be helpful if you choose a garden head.
I love how these seeds come to life when they are planted, placed in the light and watered. Listen to the story of Jesus' resurrection again and think about how each little seed is buried and then comes to life.
