Hey Kids

Trailblazers Show Us How To Share

This week we are exploring how one nameless trailblazer shared her faith.

Bible Texts —2 Kings 5:1-5,14,15 | Acts 1:8

WORDS TO REMEMBER

But the Holy Spirit will come to you. Then you will receive power. You will be my witnesses in every part of the world.”Acts 1:8

Watch Under the Love Umbrella.

Our Trailblazer for this week shows us how to share faith with the people around us. Just like sharing an umbrella on a hot or wet and rainy day, sharing our faith, in ways that help others, covers them and us in love.

For those of you who like to dance, see if you can copy these dance moves and learn your Words to Remember at the same time.

Make a Good News Art Work

Whatever is going on in the world right now, write draw, colour over all of it in love! Jesus love is GOOD NEWS

TREEHOUSE KIDS

To make anything, something has to move and change and work together to create what it is you want to make. When God made the world His plan was to create a world full of love and life. He is still working that plan out and wants to know if you are keen to be a part of it.

What ever you are making, think about how God wants to make something wonderful in you and with you to bless the world.

Making Macramé

Ever wondered how they make those comfy hammocks or amazing plant hangers or even clothes out of knots? Check out this video and find out how to make the knots then create your own macramé work of art.

Don’t give up when you get a bit tangled up. When we work through our mess we learn so much more!

We know very little about the servant girl in our text for this week. We know that she had been taken from her family to serve as a maid and we know that she shared information that would save Naamans life, the Man who had taken her from her home.

What was it that made her help the people who had taken her from her family?

Perspective is a way of looking at things. What kind of perspective do you imagine the servant girl had?

When we look at things the way Jesus does it changes our perspective and our actions.

Check out these short films on perspective and see if they challenge how you see things.

Try looking at things close up and taking photos of them.

See how something close up makes everything else behind it seem small.

If we see Jesus close up, everything else is small.

How can you help others see Jesus close up?

Check out these perspective pictures and see if you can create some of your own.

Guessing the Picture

Perspective is how we see things. How we see things often changes what we do.

Look for Jesus in everything. Look for love, joy, peace patience, kindness & goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control.

The bible tells us when we see these all together that’s where Jesus spirit is.

When we see Jesus and accept him, then that changes everything.

What can you see in these pictures.
