Hey Kids
Let’s explore what the Bible says we can do.
Bible Texts —Genesis 3 John 3:16. Ephesians 6:13-18
WORDS TO REMEMBER
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his great power. Wear the full armour of God. Wear God’s armour so that you can fight against the devil’s evil tricks. Ephesians 6:10-11 ICB
Big Idea - Jesus is our superhero.
We can believe what the bible says.
The Bible tells us God’s plan for his family. A plan to make good all that has gone bad in the world.
This is what God has always done from the very beginning of the bible to the very end.
God sent Jesus to make a way for us to be part of God's family and a part of his plan. Jesus did what no one else could do. He turned death into life. Believing in Jesus means we believe that he will do the same for us. Just like he promised in John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave his Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life.
All Jesus asks is that we believe.
Believe in his great love for us
Believe in the power of His words.
Believe that his words and ways bring life.
So when evil tries to trick us or trap us we can be strong in Jesus' name.
Jesus has sent his spirit to help us all the time.
That is why Jesus is our superhero. He hears he heals and he rescues us for ever!

Play a game of Block the Socks
Jesus is our shield, our sword, our safe place, when we are under attack.
You will need:
At least two players
A stack of socks
Some kind of Racket or table tennis bat.
If possible a camera to record the each round
I would recommend you play this game outside.
The aim of the game is to defend your self from the sock attack!!
To keep score set up a camera to record how many socks actually hit your body.
You will need as many socks as you can find. Make sure they are rolled together in pairs.
You will need a large pizza tray or garbage bin lid. Something big enough that you can hide behind
and use as a shield.
Use a table tennis bat or tennis racket to hit the socks away from you.
The aim of this game is to defend yourself from the sock attack.
One player defends themselves and the others stay behind the throwing line and from there, attack by throwing the socks. Each round the group can choose where the trowing line will be.
Watch the video back to see how many hits you took.
We would love to see you playing, trying, making and sharing! Please share your photos with your KellyvilleKids community in our WhatsApp Group. If you’re new to our KellyvilleKids community and would like to stay connected, contact us.
