WORDS TO REMEMBER
“While you heard these words just now, they were coming true!”
Luke 4:21 (ICB)
Big Idea - Have you ever been asked to take a message to someone?
All through the Bible, God sends messengers to his family showing us that he is good and that we are loved and that the rules that he gave us for life are there so we don’t hurt each other.
God sent special messengers called Prophets to tell his family about his plans. Plans to send his son Jesus so we could be together again
When Jesus read from the prophet Isaiah, he read a message about himself. A message that said he was coming to help the poor and show everyone who God is and what he does. This message was written 400 years before Jesus read it!
When Jesus read from the prophet Isaiah, he read a message about himself. A message that said he was coming to help the poor and show everyone who God is and what he does.
When he finished reading he said, “While you heard these words just now, they were coming true!” Luke 4:21
We can trust that Gods words are true, It’s who he is.
Let’s explore what the Bible says about itself.

Making an Obstacle Course
Make an Obstacle course using things from around your home.(Pillows make great stepping stones. Chairs can be climbed under or over. Bean bags are fantastic landing spots.)
Check with your family first if you are using their stuff.
Create a start and a finish and make sure there is a pathway so people doing the course know where to go.
Think up and say encouraging words to cheer your obstacle course racers along. What kinds of prize can you give when the obstacle course is done?
Play Paper Plane Races.
Gods word has travelled through time and across generations. Write a message on your plane and see how far it can fly.
Pick which plane you want to make from the videos below . Follow the instructions. Fly your plane. See which one flies the highest, the furtherest, the fastest and the twistiest ( Is that even a word?)
Challenge your family to a Paper Plane Race Off.
Video your plane flying and share it on our Whats App group.
