December 10
Hey Kids
We are at the end of our StoryLine series exploring the saving Grace of Jesus. In the next two weeks we are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus as well as the promise of his soon return. What we have learnt over and over again this year is, if God says something is going to happen, it will happen. If Jesus says he is going to do something, you can be sure HE WILL DO IT! Most of all, we have seen how much God loves us.
LAST WEEK - We explored what the family of God looks like when it works together. This is called the Church.
THIS WEEK we are exploring how we can be a part of His Story just like all the people in the Bible we have discovered this year.
Bible Texts —Revelation 20:1-15. Revelation 21:1-5. Revelation 22:1-7.
Words to Remember
7“Listen! I am coming soon! He who obeys the words of prophecy in this book will be happy.”
12 “Listen! I am coming soon! I will bring rewards with me. I will repay each one for what he has done. Revelation 22:7 and 12. ICB

It is time to create NEW DANCE MOVES!
When Jesus comes back we are going to be so happy we might jump or dance for joy! Create your own dance, something fresh and new, just like what Jesus is going to do with us.
Whats Next
We’ve been exploring the timeline beginning with the Creation and we’ve made our way through, all the way to the first church.
Through all the stories we know there was always a promise that Jesus would come, and He did! But what happens next?
Use the template below to create a timeline of the events we’ve been discussing and what you think will happen next.

Materials to Collect
Paper plate
Wooden skewer
Clay or Play-Doh
Piece of aluminum foil
One or two tea lights
Scissors
Tape
Try it!
Start by taking a clump of clay or Play-Doh and putting it on the plate. Then, stick the skewer in the clay with the pointy side up.
Next, cut a circle out of the aluminum foil, about 6” across.
Starting on the outside of the circle, cut inward toward the middle, going around until you reach the center.
When you uncurl it, you should have a spiral.
Carefully balance one end of the spiral on the point of the skewer. OPTIONAL: Adhere a small piece of tape to the end of the foil to keep the skewer from poking through the foil. (This part may be tricky; don’t give up!)
Next, place the tea lights next to the clay under the spiral.
Carefully light the tea lights and watch the spiral spin! (Have an adult help with this!)
God is amazing! He knows and sees everything. God made the perfect plan to save us so we could spend eternity with Him. We have His promises, they are a solid foundation. We have His love, like an everlasting flame that will never burn out. We have His guidance and grace, that moves us where He needs us to be. Best of all we have Jesus, who promises to be with us always.
