Hey Kids
Jesus explains how he is going to explain who God is and what His kingdom is like by using a verse from Psalm 78:2 ,
“I will speak using stories;
I will tell things that have been secret since the world was made.”
THIS WEEK we are going to explore the stories that Jesus began his ministry with.

Trash or Treasure
What do you think about the story of the weeds growing between the wheat? Which is trash and which is treasure. You can find it in Matthew 13: 24 -30
Use sticky notes and write down some of the habits you have. Are they trash or treasure?
Stick the treasure habits in front of your Bible or somewhere you can see…the trash ones you can tear up and throw away
Sow good seeds in your life and the lives of others
BUILDING JUST LIKE JESUS
Jesus designed us to work together, to take care of each other.
Work together to make the longest paper chain. You can write your name and or all the ways you choose Jesus by being kind, good and helpful, on each piece of paper.
For and extra challenge try the love heart shape chain.
Read Matthew 13: 24 - 52 find the verse that has to do with the picture below.
Use it to create a bookmark or keepsake reminder. (Remember to add the Bible verse)
Did you know that we are the treasure. Jesus gave up everything for us.
FIND THE PEARL
To Jesus we are a priceless treasure, one He was willing to sacrifice His life for.
Isn’t it comforting to know He will always know
where we are and nothing can hide or shelter us from His love
For this game
You will need: Three cups & a ping pong ball and some friends to play with.
Place the ping pong ball under the cup and move the cups around quickly. See if you can tell which cup the ball is under.
